Attached to the side of Woodend is an original Victorian glasshouse, where the women of the Sitwell family, keen botanists with a passion for horticulture, cultivated an impressive collection of plants. Today, the gardens surrounding the gallery continue to flourish with a wide variety of trees, flowers and medicinal plants, making it the perfect home for a herbal medicine practice.
Inside Edava Botanics, you’ll find an extensive dispensary containing approximately 200 medicinal herbs and herbal preparations.
Every herb has been carefully selected for its traditional use, scientific evidence and therapeutic value. Herbal tinctures, teas, creams and other preparations are individually prescribed, ensuring that each patient receives a treatment plan tailored specifically to their needs.
